Audacity fails to build on Ubuntu 11.10 (oneiric)

Audacity trunk fails to build on Ubuntu 11.10 (oneiric):

Ubuntu 11.10 (oneiric) uses GCC 4.6. The full build log [1,2].

BTW, audacity still fails on Ubuntu 11.04 due to the older FFmpeg [3].
