[Audacity-help] deverberator - postfish

mrwagstaf
There is some talk  of adding the deverberator feature to audicity in the forums.  I just wondered if that is in the plans.  I primarly use windows, but am also somewhat familiar with Linux.  Also, what is the current status of Postfish?

Thanks,
Mark Wagstaff

Long term we might add some of the more unique features of Postfish
to Audacity (certainly a deverberation effect is currently not available
elsewhere as far as I know). There is a declipper (another fairly unusual
feature included in Postfish) in Steve Harris' suite of LADSPA plugins which
has now been ported to Windows
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/beta/ladspa/ladspa-0.4.15.exe

and Mac
http://ardour.org/files/releases/swh-plugins-0.4.15.dmg

Postfish as far as I know is still a pre-release (Linux only, which has
never been ported elsewhere) and is intended as a standalone.
If you want to discuss Postfish your best bet would be to subscribe to
our Audacity-users list near the bottom of this page
http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/audacity-users

then you can post a question and most likely discuss it direct with the
author (Monty).
