Bug 1689 MIDI devices not found on Linux

Stevethefiddle
The bug has been marked devel fix-made, and
http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1689#c6
seems to imply that a fix has been applied,
but I'm still seeing no MIDI devices in Audacity.

Err, that was me.  I made the commit, isn't that what devel-fix-made means?  Or is that supposed to be used after the commit is merged into master (in which case, sorry for the confusion; I don't think it's been merged yet but it has been made locally and tested on my pi)?  Can't find any information about it on the help link for statuses.

No problem Poke. "Devel Fix-Made" should be used to indicate that a fix has been committed and is ready for testing.
Is the fix in your master branch? https://github.com/Pokechu22/audacity

Paul Licameli
Let's not duplicate too much of the discussion that is at the bugzilla issue.

Tell me which others I should take.  I have cherry-picked to master the commit https://github.com/pokechu22/audacity/commit/f1158696ab
