David Bailes-3
1. Open audacity
2. New project
3. Close this new project
4. wxWidgets debug alert (attached).

David.

Doesn't happen for me on w10 with either laterset alpha or RC2

Which OS? Doesn't do it here on Mac Sierra on build of March 1.

I should have said I was testing on Win 10.
Latest nightly build is OK.
My test which failed is with latest commits to repository

David.

I couldn't reproduce this, but the debug alert showed me the problem -
for some reason the directory did not open.  In that case I now skip the
directory.

Thanks!
