Mac build instructions

These appear to be the most recent instructions:

OK, so I downloaded and on completion of the download it was
automatically unzipped, producing a folder "wxWidgets-audacity-fixes"
in the Downloads folder

> 9) Once the download is complete, unzip it: unzip wxWidgets-audacity-fixes.zip

It's already unzipped, so what now? Where should this go?

> 10) And finally build/install wxWidgets:

Produces "command not found".

Re: Mac build instructions

Cliff Scott
Steve,

You have to be in the unzipped wxWidgets source directory. From there issue the command.

Thanks Cliff, but that's not what the instructions say, so could
someone that is familiar with doing this correct the instructions.

It's already unzipped, so what now?
Are you using Safari? The automatic unzip is a default Safari preference:

"Open safe files after downloading".

I just leave it in my Downloads folder. It doesn't matter where it goes.

It looks like when James removed the patch commands he unintentionally
excised the step to cd to the Widgets directory.  I committed the correction.
